About us
For as long as I can remember, I have been a 'maker'. Whenever I was bored as a child, I always gravitated to something art/craft related - relishing the idea of making something from nothing. Over the years I've dabbled in many different art forms, but working with wood is where my heart lies. It combines my love of nature and being in the bush, with the unique and beautiful qualities of different types of timber. We can't always be out in nature, so why not bring nature indoors?
Every single piece is made by hand, using the most beautiful and unique timbers I can get my hands on. It means that each item is one of a kind - never to be replicated exactly. I spend a lot of time (some might say too much) sanding and polishing each piece to get that gorgeous satin shine. Each piece is made with love and attention to detail.
I'm a very tactile person - when something feels as good as it looks, I'm likely to want it. This is what I try to emulate in each piece - an invitation to touch and connect with this little piece of nature.
